Corporate History
Precision Air Drilling Services is a corporation that started in the mountains of Colorado in the United States. The local area was devastated in the mid 80’s with the closure of several nearby oil shale mining facilities and has been slow to recover. Over the past two decades the natural OIL, GAS & GEOTHERMAL industries have made a huge comeback in the region and played a part in Precision Air Drilling Services getting its start as a reputable company offering UnderBalanced Air Drilling Services.
With almost 20 Years in business and 40 years experience in the OIL, GAS, GEOTHERMAL industry, Precision Air Drilling Services has been providing service for well known clients in the U.S. and World Wide.
Armed with a wealth of experience & knowledge Precision Air Drilling Services was born. Our President Kenneth D. Smith is a second generation oil, gas, and geothermal professional. Starting with only two employees in the beginning, and obtaining more than 90 working employees during its course. The company has grown to become a formidable competitor in the market. Starting with only a few pieces of equipment in the beginning, Precision Air Drilling Services has purchased a fleet of new equipment in recent years to a count of over 300 pieces of specialized equipment to service our clients.
Precision Air Drilling Service will continue to prosper and succeed in the generations to come. It is our goal to become the leader in performance for the OIL, GAS, GEOTHERMAL service industries.

The goal of Precision Air Drilling Services is to become the foremost provider of professional consulting & specialized production and support services for the OIL, GAS, GEOTHERMAL, and PIPELINE & PROCESS industries. We will continue to expand the Precision Air line of services to accommodate all facets of service for drilling & pipeline commissioning. Our staff will continue to study & train to become more efficient and knowledgeable in order to serve our clients better. We will continue to be conscious and respectful of the environment and customers’ needs.
